Water is Life

When you soak your body in that deep bath that you don' really need remember thereis a kid out there had no water to drink today.

Think!

Don' let your tap dribble,
Take a shower, not a bath. Be quick!!!

Maji ni uhai. Hifadhi maji.

They belong here, let them live

I was kinda shocked when a read a piece news in one of the local newspapers in Tanzania. Well, it was online. It talks about how the fishermen in Bagamoyo are being harrasses by the hotel owners on bagamoyo beach. They are being stopped to do their activities like they did for decades for fear that they will steal from the tourist. How ridiculous is that. The tourists come to enjoy the beauty and the peacefulness of our land while the local suffers. Gimme a break and ditch the colonial mentality. Most of the locals are very decent and loves visitor.
For generations fishing kept the community alive and happy. Now, the torist are here, the locals are treated like nothing. How do we expect them for feed their kids? And don' give me the bullshit that they are doing a 'HARAMU' ( illegal) fishing. No. They use simple boats and nets. No dynamites.

We Tanzanian are victims of our own good. We love and welcome everyone, but time and time again they turn on us. Remember your history lesson in secondary school? Yes. Foreigner have power in our land. I have no problem with foreigners, don' get me wrong; but we need to enpower and protect our people otherwise we lose our pride. Our wonderful Tanzania.

Mungu ibariki Tanzania.

They only report when we bleed

Tanzania. There have been a big news over the last few days in Tanzania. The prime minister was forced to resign following his implication in a corruption scandal which costed the poor nation million of pounds. That is a big step in african politics, especially for poor country like Tanzania where corrupt politicians suck the poor majorities dry.
I got my eye glued to the TV to get an in depth story coverage. There was nothing. Nothing at all. Tell me if i missed it.
Dealing with corruption at top level in third world countries is not easy but Tanzania has showed the way forward. Let the world see that the country is trying to rid off people trying to bring her to her knees. WELL DONE MR J K KIKWETE, the president.
Mugabe sit down, watch and weep.

On the other side if there was people being killed in the streets or starving the media would have been there at thae speed of light.
I just want the world to know that there is also very good news happening despite all the chaos. The media love bloody , so they never report the GOOD NEWS coming from the continent.

Mungu ibaribi Tanzania, God bless Tanzania.

Bridges in Life

Bridge.
In life we cross so many bridges.
Narrow ones, broad ones and even swinging ones.
Whatever the situation, we will cross that bridge when we get there.
Stay positive.

Everything is crazy.

A Polish patient walked from alocal A+E after waiting 4 hours. She had a head injury ( i don' think it was that bad) ten days previuosly. Anyway, the A+E was heaving and the patient thought she will just se seen in flash. WRONG.
A doctor called her name , examined her and thought she may need a CT scan of the head. While on the phone to the radiologist tha patient said she is going and it is ridiculous to go through all this rubbish.
Her husband walked into the department saying, ' My wife waited along time and now she cant wait no more. This country is crazy, everything is crazy. Where I can from things are not like this', he ranted. He walked awy fuming.
Well, I have one thing to say to that: IF YOU DON' LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE IN THIS COUNTRY, THEN JUST GO WHERE YOU CAME FROM QUIETLY.

I hate to hear people demanding things and rights when they come to this country.
I am sure they can't even raise a finger in their country. They should be grateful so accepted and get what everyone gets. If they are good at whinging probably they can change things in their own land.
THINK BEFORE YOU WHINGE.

Your life depends on me! TRUE

You need me, you all know that.
Without me you are nothing.
I am beautiful and ugly
I am soft and hard
I am colourless and colourful
I can be very hot and yet very cold.
Your soul is nothing without me.
You look clean coz of me.
Please, share me.
Someone out there has plenty of me.
The world is full of me, still people lack me.
Who the heck am I?
I am this beautiful picture.
They call me 'water'. Just water.
THINK ABOUT THE THIRSTY PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD.

Wednesday 30 January 2008

I know a place where we can carry on.
Me and you,
No anger, no pain but passion.
Passion for life.
Life is beautiful, so are you.
You are the life.
Look into yourself and see, the beauty.
It is your life.
Live it your way but don' mess the other people's lives.

Kenya get off your back

Once one of Africa's best spot to be in, but, now a no go zone. How sad to see Africa falling apart because of a few lunatic who want to benefit themselves. I am sure both political parts are responsible for this shameful events in this beautiful part of Africa. I pray to go God that this shit does not catch up to my wonderful Tanzania. Good protect us.

I think it is high time now for Kenyan and other African to see each other as one tribe, Africans . A one happy family. It should not matter whether you are zaramo, kikuyu or luo OR christian or muslim. There is one Africa and we all gonna leave this beautiful soil one day, so why can't we just enjoy it's beauty. Stop the selfishness and the greedy for power. Let Africa live to it's name, The mother of human civilisation.

All we need is love. Screw the politicians who want to pocket the product of the peoples' sweat.
Ploticians promises loads of things to get your vote and once they got it, they never remember and deny what they promised. They just laugh all the way to the Swiss Banks.
See your neighbour as a human and a friend, nothing more and the rest will come naturally. LOVE.

We don' need another genocide on our door step, please.

Kenyans, please wake up now before you go into a very deep sleep.
MUNGU IBARIKI KENYA, MUNGU IBARIKI AFRIKA YETU.
